Godzilla claymation

These are pictures of the clay model of Godzilla, that i and Ethan made for our claymation work. All of this is for educational purposes.

We made him out of black and gray clay.

Today we have put in the clay animations back ground, the background was too small and vus had to be placed upon a large platform for the camera.

We have finished the work for our clay animation movie and it can be viewed below

Godzilla Ethan and Marcus.mp4
After editing the video so it has an opening and credits I opened it up in Garage Band and I choose several sound effects to put in the background.
I'm using the music for educational purposes. I dragged the music file from the folder to garage band and I edited the parts of the music so it would match up with the video's effects. After that I then saved along side the Godzilla video.

Persistence Of Vision

This process is used in stop motion or still picture for any kind of animation and is still used today in modern cartoons. This process is where an animation is drawn and placed on top of a similar image with a slightly different movement over and over until you have a full action. then the picture is played back in a cycle of movements which in turn causes the brain to be tricked into thinking it's moving

The Kinetoscope was an early motion picture invented and developed by Kennedy Laurie Dickson and Thomas Edison in 1888. it was introduced to the same basic approach as a film projector. it works by looking through lenses and rolling several slides in fast motion toward the point it tricks the mind into thinking its a moving picture.
